Heals and Galen Health sign a long-term Strategic Alliance and collaboration to build a platform to enable seamless connection between Healthcare Providers and Insurers.
Through this partnership, Heals will integrate its patient engagement mobile app and insurance claims engine with Galen Health’s Clinic Management System (CMS) to create a unified platform to better serve their Patients, Policy Holders’ and Payors.
Heals’ expertise in telehealth, insurance claims and platform integration for key insurers such as Prudential via its recently renewed, multi-year regional contract with Pulse Ecosystems Pte Ltd; will enable their patients and Healthcare Providers on Galen Health’s CMS greater convenience, connectivity and transparency in data exchange for a better patient experience.
Heals Healthcare (Asia) is headquartered in Hong Kong where Heals is the leading market provider of CMS to about 3,000 clinic users, the Heals cloud-based platform extends to connecting health providers, insurers/ medical scheme payors, e-pharmacy distributors and medication delivery partners.
Galen Health is Singapore based and its Clinic Management System (CMS) is Singapore Smart CMS (Gold Tier-1) approved and National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) ready. Galen Health’s CMS is deployed in Primary and Specialists Clinics in Singapore; including Healthway Medical Group – one of the largest private primary and specialist care networks in Singapore. It is also fully-integrated with the public healthcare system and programmes such as HealthierSG, Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) and Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC).
The primary objective of this alliance is to advance broad end-to-end health propositions, based on three strategic themes:
- Connectivity and e-health records data sharing between patients, providers and payors;
- Digitalized claims experience and automated processing; and
- Healthier SG: enabling holistic virtual care and better health public-private initiatives.
